SMS Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before enrolling in the Business Outside The Box & BastropConnect SMS program (“Program”). By opting in, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Program Description

The Program sends transactional and promotional text messages—including account notices, contest updates, special offers, customer-care alerts, and public-service announcements—only to subscribers who have provided express written consent.


2. Opt-In Consent

You may join by:

  • texting a designated keyword to our long code or short code;
  • checking the SMS-consent box on a web form; or
  • verbally consenting during a recorded call.
    Consent is         not a condition of purchase.

3. Message Frequency

Expect 2–4 msgs/month on average, with brief spikes around campaigns (max 6 msgs/week). Frequency varies by your interactions and subscriptions.

4. Fees & Carriers

Message and data rates may apply. Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Opt-Out (STOP)

Text STOP to the sending number at any time to cancel. You’ll receive one final confirmation text.

7. Privacy

Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy. We never sell or share phone numbers with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.

8. Eligibility

You must be:

  • at least 18 years old (or have parental consent);
  • a U.S. resident; and
  • the authorized account holder of the mobile number provided.

9. Program & Terms Changes

We may modify or suspend the Program or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via SMS or email and take effect upon posting.

10. Disclaimers

Messages are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Business Outside The Box, BastropConnect, and their affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Program.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
